Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) Wednesday said that the newly unveiled Google's (GOOG) seven-inch tablet Nexus 7 features the Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor. Nexus 7 is priced at $199 and runs on the latest version of Android operating system, Jelly Bean.
Nvidia said the Tegra 3 processor features a unique 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture for outstanding performance and exceptional battery life. Nexus 7 offers up to 8 hours of HD video playback, 10 hours book reading, 10 hours web browsing and 300 hours standby.
Nexus 7 comes with either 8 GB or 16 GB of storage, 1 GB RAM, front camera and micro USB port.
"Nexus 7 with Tegra 3 delivers a premium experience at a price consumers will absolutely love," said Michael Rayfield, general manager of the Mobile business at NVIDIA.
