IHS Inc. (IHS) announced that it has received notice from the Federal Trade Commission granting early termination of the waiting period under the Hart Scott Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 for its acquisition of GlobalSpec from Warburg Pincus LLC for $135 million.
In 12th June 2012, IHS had announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire GlobalSpec Inc., the leading specialized vertical search, product information and digital media company serving the engineering, manufacturing and related scientific and technical market segments, from Warburg Pincus LLC for $135 million.
