Swiss producer and import price index continued to decline in June, the Federal Statistical Office said Friday.
The producer and import price index fell 2.2 percent year-on-year in June, matching economists' forecast.
On a monthly basis, the index fell 0.3 percent compared to forecast for a 0.4 percent fall. This decline is due in particular to lower prices for oil and petroleum products, the statistical office said.
While the producer price index for domestically produced goods decreased 0.1 percent month-on-month, import prices showed a decline of 0.8 percent.
