MicroFinancial Inc. (MFI) Wednesday reported an increase in profit for the second quarter, due mainly to higher revenues.
The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company's second-quarter net profit was $2.64 million or $0.18 per share, compared to $2.28 million or $0.16 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter grew 9.1 percent to $14.70 million from $13.46 million in the prior-year quarter.
