China Manufacturing PMI Due On Tuesday

China is on Tuesday scheduled to release the July score for the HSBC Flash Manufacturing PMI, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. The index saw a score of 48.2 in June.

China also will see the June results of the Conference Board's leading and coincident indexes; they were up 1.1 percent and 0.8 percent in May, respectively.

Hong Kong will provide June numbers for imports, exports and trade balance. The trade balance is expected to show a deficit of 37.3 billion Hong Kong dollars following the 35.57 billion HKD shortfall in May. Imports were worth 330.07 billion HKD in the previous month, while exports were at 294.51 billion HKD.
