Robert Half International Inc. (RHI) reported that its second-quarter net income available to common stockholders rose to $45.10 million, or $0.32 per share, from $35.89 million, or $0.25 per share in the year ago quarter.
Net income and income per share latest quarter were reduced by $8.1 million, or $.06 per share, related to a nonrecurring litigation settlement and the resolution of certain tax matters.
Revenues for the quarter were $1.03 billion, up from $938.0 million in the year ago quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.35 per share on revenues of $1.04 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
