Amid the release of Australia's building approvals data for June in early Tuesday Asian deals at 9:30 pm ET, the aussie ticked up against other major currencies.
The aussie is now worth 1.0508 against the greenback, 82.18 against the yen, 1.1678 against the euro and 1.2987 against the kiwi.
