The US dollar extended its recent downtrend against the Swiss franc on Tuesday in New York, falling to a 4-day low of 0.9744 around 11:10 am ET. The dollar-franc pair thus depreciated by more than 0.8 percent from yesterday's 4-day high of 0.9826.
The next key level to watch on the downside is at 0.97, at which a strong support zone stands in the near-term. A move beyond this mark could set the pair near the 0.96 area.
