Oil States International (OIS) posted second-quarter net income attributable to the company of $111.23 million or $2.01 per share, compared to $74.24 million or $1.34 per share in the prior year quarter.
Operating income for the quarter was $169.26 million, up from $115.16 million in the previous year period.
Revenues for the quarter rose to $1.09 billion from $820.32 million in the comparable quarter last year.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $1.87 per share on revenue of $1.04 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
