second quarter increased to $39.5 million or $0.55 per share from $31.6 million or $0.52 per share.
On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.57 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Kilroy reported a loss of $800 thousand or $0.02 per share, which widened from $317 thousand or $0.01 per share last year.
Revenues from continuing operations increased $103.9 million, up from $88.4 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $95.63 million.
