Czech retail sales, including automotive segment, declined 1 percent year-on-year in June, the Czech Statistical Office said Friday. However, the pace of decline was weaker than the 1.7 percent drop forecast.
On a working-day adjusted basis, retail sales increased 0.8 percent. After seasonal adjustment, sales recorded a 0.4 percent increase month-on-month in June.
In the second quarter, retail sales decreased 2.4 percent annually. Sales in automotive segment was 4.2 percent less than a year earlier.
