Molycorp Inc. (MCP) reported a second quarter adjusted EPS loss of $0.03 after the close Thursday. The consensus estimate was for a profit of $0.08.
Molycorp gapped open sharply lower Friday and declined until mid-morning. The stock finished down by 4.58 at $11.49, with volume at a 10-month high. Molycorp has been declining for the past month and set a new low for the year.
