South Korea's department store sales declined in July suggesting weak domestic demand, official data showed Tuesday.
Sales at leading department stores slipped 0.9 percent annually, following a 2 percent drop in June, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance reported.
At the same time, sales at the top three discount stores dropped 8.3 percent year-on-year, bigger than the 7.2 percent fall in the prior month.
