At 6:00 am ET Wednesday, German industrial output for June is due. Ahead of the data, the euro moved sideways against the franc, but fell against the rest of major currencies.
At 5:55 am ET, the euro was worth 1.2359 against the greenback, 96.75 against the yen, 1.2014 against the franc and 0.7934 against the pound.
