Asia Bio-Chem Group Corp. (ABC.TO) reported that its second quarter net loss was C$8.2 million or C$0.10 per share compared to a profit of C$1.3 million or C$0.02 per share in the year ago quarter.
Sales for the quarter declined to C$49.51 million from C$68.67 million in the year ago quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of C$0.05 per share on revenues of C$37.61 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
