Following the release of the preliminary report of the Reuters/University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey for August at 9:55 am ET Friday, the dollar changed little against other major currencies.
The greenback is now trading at 0.9748 against the franc, 79.47 against the yen, 1.2325 against the euro and 1.5712 against the pound.
