A.G.Barr Plc (BAG.L) announced that John Nicolson would join the Board as independent non-executive director with effect from January 2013. Nicolson is currently President of Heineken Americas, based in New York with responsibility for a region including the USA, Brazil and Mexico. John has also been Deputy Chairman of Compania Cervecerias Unidas, S.A. (Chile), since 2009.
In addition, Jonathan Warburton steps down from the Board, with immediate effect, to cut back on his outside responsibilities to focus more on his role at Warburtons.
