Monsanto Co. (MON) has named Brett Begemann as its President and Chief Commercial Officer. In his expanded role as President, Begemann would lead the oversight and operational execution of the company's near-term expansion and growth in key international markets.
Hugh Grant would continue to serve as the Chairman and Chief Executive for Monsanto Company, where he maintains ongoing responsibility for long-term corporate strategy, as well as setting direction and maintaining oversight of its operations. Grant would focus on the delivery of strategic plans and policies for the organization, comprising the company's long-term vision.
Previously, Begemann served as Monsanto's executive vice president and chief commercial officer for global business operations. In his expanded role as President, Begemann would work to ensure the commercial development of the company's next-generation of growth drivers.
