Nordson Corp. (NDSN) rose 14 percent to $63.00. The company's third quarter profit increased from the prior year period and its adjusted earnings per share were above analysts' prediction. Sales improved 22 percent and also topped the consensus estimate. The company forecast fourth quarter sales above analysts' estimate.
Decliners:
ImmunoCellular Therapeutics Ltd. (IMUC) fell 13 percent to $2.52. The company announced the appointment of John Yu as its interim chief executive and President. The company stated that it has accepted the resignation of Manish Singh from the CEO, President, and board positions. Yu will continue to serve as Chief Scientific Officer and Chairman of the board.
