Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT) announced that the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency or DISA selected the company for a role on its Test and Evaluation Mission Support Services or TEMSS program. Six other companies were also selected to compete for future TEMSS tasks, with a seventh supporting other program elements.
The company stated that it will begin its support through a 90-day, firm fixed price phase-in task worth $393,000. The TEMSS program is a one-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity or IDIQ contract that includes four one-year options with a potential ceiling value of $800 million for all contractors. Work will take place in Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; Indian Head, Md.; and Fort Meade, Md.
The contract will support DISA's mission to provide network, computing infrastructure and enterprise services for real-time information sharing and decision making among military and civilian agencies. The company noted that it will pursue opportunities to deliver testing, scientific, engineering, logistic, administrative, and operations and maintenance services.
