Medical device maker Competitive Technologies, Inc. (CTTC) on Tuesday reported a narrower net loss for the second quarter, as improved margins more than offset a drop in revenues.
Net loss for the second quarter was $942,000 or a loss of $0.06 per share, versus a loss of $1.3 million or a loss of $0.12 per share in the prior year.
Product sales for the second quarter were $63,000, falling from $311,000 in the same quarter last year. Other revenues totaled $60,000, compared to $16,000 a year ago.
Shares of Competitive Technologies last traded at $0.75 down 15 cents or 16.67% on the OTC markets.
