Morocco's annual inflation slowed in July, data released by the country's planning authority showed Wednesday.
Consumer prices increased 1.7 percent on an annual basis in July, slightly slower than the 1.9 percent growth seen in June.
Prices of food products rose 3.1 percent annually during the month, while prices of non-food products rose 0.5 percent.
Compared to June, consumer prices moved up 0.3 percent in July. Underlying inflation, excluding products with volatile prices, was 0.6 percent in July, the agency said.
