Blizzard Games Adds 100 Levels To Diablo III

Blizzard games has announced plans for 100 new levels for it's popular Diablo III title. The game previously peaked out at 60 levels and the extra levels will be available to top level games in patch 1.0.4.

According to pcmag.com, the patch will also resolve issues with the game's Magic Find gear-swapping. The new Paragon system will apply any points scored past level 60 to the newly created levels. The new levels will also provide rewards including strength, dexterity, intelligence, and vitality, 3 percent Magic Find and 3 percent Gold Find, reports pcmag.com.

Blizzard game director Jay Wilson wrote on the company's blog that the additions will reward those dedicated players who have surpassed beneficial levels on the game:

"It can be demoralizing to play for an hour, not get any drops, and also be out a big chunk of gold from repair costs. Your play session may not only end without an upgrade, it can wind up being a net loss. Everyone wants to feel like they're making some progress when they log in, even if they don't get that new sword," Wilson writes.
