Greif Inc. (GEF) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.75 after the close Wednesday, down from $1.26 in the prior year period.
Greif climbed throughout the first half of Thursday's session and ended the day higher by 3.52 at $44.22, with volume at a 9-month high. The stock climbed to a 2 1/2 month high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
