Credit card spending in New Zealand rose marginally in August after declining in July, figures released by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Friday.
Spending rose 0.1 percent month-on-month in August, following a 1.5 percent decline in July. On an annual basis, card spending rose 1.9 percent.
Domestic billings on credit cards issued in New Zealand remained unchanged from a month earlier, while overseas billings on New Zealand issued cards fell 2.4 percent.
