Tim Sullivan, the company's President and chief executive, and Howard Hochhauser, its finance chief and operating chief, will maintain a majority of their equity stakes and also Spectrum Equity will remain an investor in the company.
Philips (PHG) is up 6 percent to $26.07. The company's third quarter profit jumped from the year-ago period. Sales increased 14 percent. Comparable sales grew 5 percent, with all three sectors contributing to growth.
Peabody Energy Corp. (BTU) is up nearly 6 percent to $27.40. The company's third quarter profit declined from the previous year period. Revenues improved from the year-ago quarter, while sales volumes went up 6 percent.

V.F. Corp. (VFC) is down 5 percent to $159.10. The company's third quarter profit improved from the year-ago period. Revenues, though higher, missed the consensus estimate. The company maintained its full-year top line guidance for 2012, while it raised its adjusted earnings per share forecast.
