MGE Energy, Inc. (MGEE) Tuesday reported a third-quarter net income of $23.6 million or $1.02 per share, compared to $21.0 million or $0.91 per share in the prior year quarter.
Operating income for the quarter was $39.9 million, up from $36.3 million in the previous year period.
Operating revenues rose to $137.8 million from $133.6 million in the comparable quarter last year.
For nine months, net income was $53.96 million or $2.33 per share, compared to $51.54 million or $2.23 per share in the year-ago period.
Operating revenues for the quarter was $404.32 million, down from $415.44 million last year.
