Real estate and natural resources company Forestar Group Inc. (FOR) reported third-quarter net loss attributable to the company of $0.7 million or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $36.4 million or $1.02 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Excluding items, net income for the latest third quarter was $4.3 million or $0.12 per share, compared to a net loss of $3.5 million or $0.09 per share in the prior year quarter.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $40.61 million from $26.24 million a year ago.
