The Fresh Market, Inc. (TFM)reveals resignation of Lisa Klinger as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to accept a similar position with a private equity-backed apparel retailer.
Sean Crane, the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of interim Chief Financial Officer, and in that capacity will act as interim principal financial officer. Jeff Short, the Vice President and Controller, will act as interim principal accounting officer.
The company stated that it intends to immediately commence a search for a new Chief Financial Officer and added that Klinger will remain with it through December 7, 2012.
