Bulgaria's consumer price inflation slowed for the second straight month in November, data released by the National Statistical Institute showed on Wednesday.
The consumer price index advanced by 3.9 percent in November, following 4.4 percent increase in the previous month.
The index measuring utilities' cost rose the most, by 10.4 percent, while the cost of education increased 6.4 percent. This was followed by a 5 percent rise in the transport component.
The cost of health declined by 1.2 percent, communication charges was 0.8 percent lower, and recreation and culture fell by 0.7 percent.
Month-on-month, the CPI fell by 0.1 percent in November.
At the same time, the harmonized index of consumer prices- measured by the EU methodology, rose 2.7 percent annually, after a 3 percent rise in the previous month. The index fell by 0.2 percent sequentially.
