Japan's industrial production grew by a revised 1.6 percent month-on-month in October, down from the initial estimate of 1.8 percent, final data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed Friday.
Annually, overall production was down 4.5 percent.
Shipments dropped 0.1 percent from a month ago, compared to the flash estimate of flat reading. Likewise, inventory dropped 0.1 percent versus a 0.3 percent increase estimated initially. The decline in inventory ratio was revised to 2.1 percent from 1.8 percent.
Capacity utilization grew 1.6 percent month-on-month in October, rebounding from a 5.5 percent fall in September.
