Erasing early gains, the yen slipped against other major currencies in European morning deals on Wednesday.
The yen is trading at 92.19 against the aussie, 87.69 against the greenback, 140.81 against the pound, 94.90 against the franc and 114.72 against the euro, compared to an early high of 91.24, multi-day highs of 86.84, 139.43, 93.98 and 113.58, respectively.
Against the NZ dollar, the yen fell to more than a 4-year low of 73.62.
