Clarcor Inc. (CLC) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.72 after the close Wednesday, down from $0.73 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.70. Full year 2013 EPS is expected to be between $2.45 and $2.60, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.62.
Clarcor rose sharply during the first hour of trade Thursday, before settling into a range. The stock ended the day with a gain of 2.57 at $49.73. Clarcor closed challenging resistance, trading at a 4-month high.
