Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. posted third-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.191.48 crore, up from the Rs.163.93 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. Total income rose to Rs.683.74 crore from the Rs.609.16 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
On a consolidated basis, its net profit, after minority interest and share of of profit/loss of associates, for the third-quarter grew to Rs.194.11 crore from the Rs.139.33 crore in the year-ago quarter. Total income increased to Rs.974.82 crore from the Rs.771.91 in Q3FY12.
At the BSE, Zee Entertainment shares are being traded at Rs.229.15, up 2.94 percent from the previous close.
