Thailand's consumer price inflation slowed in January, data published by the Ministry of Commerce showed Friday.
The consumer price index rose 3.39 percent year-on-year in January, decelerating from 3.63 percent increase in December. Economists expected CPI to rise 3.5 percent.
The core CPI, that excludes energy and food costs, increased 1.59 percent compared to expectations for a 1.7 percent increase.
