Apollo Investment Corp. (AINV) reported that its third-quarter net investment income increased to $42.08 million from $38.54 million last year. Net investment income per share was $0.21 for the quarter. Net asset value was $8.14 per share as of December 31, 2012. Loss per share for the quarter was $0.11 compared to gain of $0.31 prior year.
The company also announced its Board has declared a dividend of $0.20 per share for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2013.
