ManTech International Corp. (MANT) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $20 million or $0.55 per share, compared with $30.5 million or $0.83 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $622 million, compared with $682 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.68 per share on revenues
of $677.29 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
ManTech Chief Financial Officer Kevin Phillips said, "Customer uncertainty significantly impacted our results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal 2012..."
Looking ahead to fiscal year 2013, the company expects net earnings of $88 million or $2.36 per share, and revenues of $2.6 billion.
Analysts currently expect earnings of $2.55 per share on revenues of $2.58 billion for 2013.
The Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.21 per share, which will be paid on March 22 to all common stockholders as of March 8.
