Lithuania's industrial production increased from last year In January, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Friday.
Industrial production increased 4.4 percent on an annual basis in December. Mining and quarrying production climbed 13.9 percent annually, while manufacturing production advanced 4.9 percent.
Production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply was lower by 0.3 percent compared to last year.
Intermediate goods production rose 8.2 percent year-on-year, while durable goods production rose 11.6 percent. Production of capital goods, meanwhile, decreased 23.4 percent compared to last year, data showed.
On a monthly basis, industrial production advanced 2 percent in January, the agency said.
