Royal Philips Electronics (PHG, PHIA) Monday said its Green Product sales for the year 2012 totaled 11.3 billion euros, accounting for 45 percent of total sales.
Revenue growth was mostly contributed by Healthcare which expanded its Green Product portfolio with 16 new introductions to improve patient outcomes and expand access to care, while reducing environmental impact.
The company also said it has reached its five-year CO2 reduction target of 25 percent in 2012, helped by energy saving programs at major operational sites, green logistics, reduced travel and increased use of renewable energy.
