Affymax Inc. (AFFY) and Takeda Pharmaceutical announced Saturday that they have decided to voluntarily recall all lots of OMONTYS Injection to the user level, as a result of new postmarketing reports regarding serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis.
Affymax gapped open dramatically lower Monday, but traded in a narrow range throughout the session. The stock closed down by 14.10 at $2.42 on the highest volume of the year. Affymax plummeted to a new low for the year.
