NOOK Media LLC, an unit of Barnes & Noble, Inc. (BKS), the retailer of content, digital media and educational products, announced a special limited time savings offer on the critically acclaimed NOOK HD+, the lowest-priced and lightest 9-inch full HD tablet. Starting today through March 11, customers who buy NOOK HD+ online at www.nook.com or at any of the nearly 700 Barnes & Noble stores nationwide would get $50 in their NOOK account to purchase digital content from the expansive NOOK Store, including apps, magazines, newspapers, books, movies, TV shows and more, the company said.
The free $50 credit, which would load to a customer's NOOK account within 3-10 days of registering that account to the new NOOK HD+, must be used within 30 days of posting to a customer's NOOK account.
According to Barnes & Noble, NOOK HD+ is packed with great tablet features, including NOOK Profiles, NOOK Channels, the ability to sync the last page read across NOOK devices and apps so customers don't lose their place, adjustable fonts, spacing and themes, a powerful 1.5Ghz dual-core processor and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as expandable memory and free unlimited NOOK Cloud storage for all NOOK content.
