MGE Energy, Inc. (MGEE) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $10.5 million or $0.46 per share, compared to $9.4 million or $0.41 per share in the prior year quarter.
Operating income for the quarter was $19.35 million, up from $17.44 million in the previous year period.
Operating revenues rose to $137.0 million from $130.95 million in the comparable quarter last year.
For twelve months ended December 31, 2012, net income was $64.4 million or $2.79 per share, compared to $60.9 million or $2.64 per share in the year-ago period.
Operating revenues for the same period was $541.32 million, down from $546.38 million last year.
