Coca-Cola FEMSA S.A.B de C.V. (KOF) Wednesday reported an increase in profit for the fourth quarter, helped mainly by a double-digit revenue, contributed mostly by growth in the Mexico & Central America division.
Fourth-quarter operations were also helped by integration of Grupo CIMSA and Grupo Fomento Queretano in our Mexican territories.
Consolidated net income for the quarter increased 35.3 percent to 4.51 billion Mexican pesos or 6.62 peso per share from 3.34 billion pesos or 5.72 peso per share in the same period last year.
Revenues totaled 39.86 billion pesos, up 10.4 percent from 36.09 billion pesos last year.
