Splunk Inc. (SPLK) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.03 per share after the close Thursday, up from $0.01 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.02.
Splunk gapped up slightly Friday and climbed until around mid-morning. The stock extended its gains going into the close and finished up by 2.84 at $38.97. Splunk closed challenging the highs of the year, trading at a 5 1/2 month high.
