Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) said Wednesday that contrary to a media report released earlier today, Johnson the company has not retained JPMorgan to sell its automotive interiors business segment and that it has no current intention to divest that segment.
Johnson Controls said it had retained JPMorgan to explore the potential divestiture of its automotive electronics business segment. The company said it is in the preliminary stages of that process.
