The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $0.92 to $0.98 and between $3.76 and $3.92 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.94 and $3.93.
PetSmart gapped open sharply lower Thursday morning and is now down 4.79 at $61.76 on above average volume. The stock has dropped to over a 9-month low.
