SGL Carbon SE (SGLFF.PK) announced the appointment of Jürgen Köhler as a full member of the board, effective June 1, 2013. Köhler, who would assume responsibility for the Business Area Carbon Fibers & Composites or CFC, would replace Theodore Breyer, who is leaving the board on October 31, 2013 after 14 years on the Board of Management.
Breyer, Deputy CEO of SGL Group, would continue to be in charge of SGL Group's North American business, including HITCO, and for procurement, EHSA and engineering until his departure from the board on October 31, 2013.
Also, Breyer would remain connected to the firm even after his retirement from the board, contributing his experience in the board of the North American companies of the SGL Group as non executive member.
