Hot Topic Inc. (HOTT) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $12.1 million or $0.29 per share, compared to $9.0 million or $0.21 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Total net sales for the latest fourth quarter grew 11.0 percent to $232.96 million from $209.89 million last year, while total company comparable sales increased 2.6 percent for the quarter.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.27 per share on revenues of $227.92 million for the quarter.
