Comstock Resources Inc. (CRK) announced Friday morning that it agreed to sell all of its oil and gas properties in Reeves and Gaines counties in West Texas to Rosetta Resources Inc. (ROSE) for $768 million.
Comstock Resources gapped open higher Friday and has continued to rise in early trade. Shares are now up 2.64 at $18.60. The stock has climbed to its highest level since late October.
