AAR Corp. (AIR) reported third quarter net income of $0.46 per share after the bell Tuesday, down from $0.50 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.43. The company also increased its full year 2013 EPS forecast to between $1.78 and $1.82, from prior expectations of $1.70 to $1.80. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $1.80.
AAR Corp. gapped up Wednesday and climbed throughout the first half of the session. The stock finished with a gain of 1.58 at $19.56 on above average volume. AAR rose to over a month and a half high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
